I can't think of a funny pun for the title

Scooters merry band of social cricketers were split in two this week as there was a "senior" side and a "development" side in action. The quotation marks are in action as the senior side had 4 teenagers in it and the development side had a much loved senior citizen taking to the field once again.
The names are not in important, Fleckney had two games to play.
The roving reporter was at one, and the roving reporter was at the other - does this make sense? No, but when does the roving reporter make sense? Never. Thank You.
At Fleckney, Arnesby were the visitors and the skippers got together and decided that the hosts wanted to bat and the visitors wanted to bowl so no actual tossing of a coin was required.
Mandeep and Seth went in and played typically Mandeep (17) and Seth (23) style innings as we raced to 50-2 off the first 10 overs, the pitch gave rewards if you bowled it in the right areas and generally behaved itself.
Vinny, Yak and Manraj came and went but added to the whole before some late biffing from Hishan (50*) and Sam Hill (31*) meant that Fleckney closed on 172/7
Early wickets were required and Sam Hill (2-21) delivered these, taking a wicket in both his first two overs to peg back the visitors, they didn't really improve, Scott (1-22) picked up his customary wicket and Hishan (2-9) gave the batters nothing but misery, before it was left to the kids to bring it home for the Fleckney side.
Kinaari has been playing Womens Softball for Fleckney (yay...) for a while and Womens Hardball for Kibworth (boo...) for a while as well, but it was lovely to see her playing for Fleckney Hardball today and taking wickets - 3-38, including two in two balls, which ripped the heart out of the opponents chase. Rajveer took 1-2 and Manraj ended the game with a deflected run out off his own bowling to leave Fleckney winning by 57 runs.
This particular roving reporter is done for 2026, but there are plenty of other roving reporters out there...
